Understand Your Needs
An introductory call with the relevant staff of the club to establish what you believe your current set-piece strengths are, and what areas of improvement you feel you need to make across both attacking and defending phases. This conversation is key to provide an outline of what you feel your club's current situation is on your set-piece performance at this moment in time.
Analyse The Data & Footage
Using both data and tactical video (provided by the club), key areas of improvement and current strengths across your attacking and defending set-pieces will be identified. What does the combination of data and video tell us, but what does the data also not tell us about your attacking and defending principles across corners, free kicks and long throws?
Identify Priorities & Present
The main priorities of the performance review will be analysed to the finest detail and provided in a report with a voiceover and illustration to give your staff the best possible way to understand what areas are to be improved and what current strengths are to be maintained.
Coach Education & On-Site Consultancy
On-site consultation that delivers educational workshops for your coaches and analysts, and ongoing support for your coaching staff and analysts in their set-piece process, both off and on the pitch.
Coach Your Team
After dialogue and planning with your coaching staff, on-pitch sessions are delivered directly to your players. They are coached through a range of different training exercises designed to develop their qualities and understanding across your attacking and defending set-piece principles. This gives your squad a clear, hands-on understanding of their roles in each phase.
Presentation Workshop
A classroom-based workshop is delivered to your coaches and analysts to build their set-piece knowledge across analysis and coaching. Topics include opposition set-piece analysis, structuring your training week around set-piece priorities, evolving your set-piece methodology, and building a club-wide set-piece culture, among other areas. This gives your staff the context to analyse and coach set-pieces to a high level.
Practical Coaching Session
A practical coaching session is delivered to your first team and academy coaches, showing them first hand a range of functional training exercises and methods of delivery that make set-piece training more demanding and engaging for players. These exercises are based on your club's methodology and principles, and show how they can be adapted around your plan for the opposition, shaped by the findings from your analysis.
Methodology Document
An illustrated set-piece methodology document for your club, showing your principles through animated slides, training and match footage to enhance learning and understanding for your coaches and players.
Establishing Your Club's Principles
An introductory conversation establishes and agrees your club's principles across every attacking and defending phase, including corners, free kicks and long throws. This covers key details such as marking systems (zonal, man-to-man or a mix), and delivery methods, from direct corners to short, surprise variations. These principles form the foundation the rest of the methodology is built on.
Make The Detail Clear
Once the principles are agreed, they are illustrated through detailed slides and animated examples to make every detail clear. This gives your staff a visual reference that explains exactly what is expected from players in each principle, making the principles easy to understand and communicate. Each phase is broken down individually, so every member of the coaching staff follows the same detail.
Connect Principles To Footage
Your club's own training and match footage is then used to connect the agreed principles to real examples. This shows exactly how the methodology applies in practice, helping players and staff see the detail in action rather than just in theory. Clips are organised by principle, giving a clear library of examples that can be revisited in meetings and used to reinforce the same messages on the grass.

A Dedicated Club Hub
A private hub is set up for your club, bringing your methodology together with post-match, game-by-game and round reports in one place. Staff and players can revisit the hub at any time throughout the season, with every report added as the campaign progresses, giving everyone a single, up-to-date reference point.
Video Review With Voiceover
Post-match footage is reviewed after every fixture, with a full video review of every set-piece uploaded to the hub alongside voiceover talking staff through the analysis. Each clip is broken down against the club's principles, showing where they were executed well and where they need to improve.
Regular Conversations
Bi-weekly calls with your coaching staff take place to cover recent performances and how the set-piece processes have been working over that time. These sit alongside monthly performance reviews, giving staff a regular rhythm of support throughout the season rather than a single piece of work.
On-Site Club Visits
In-person visits take place across the season, on a number of days agreed with your club in advance. These are spent on site assisting your coaches and analysts with their day to day processes, relating training sessions back to the agreed principles and helping staff apply the methodology to what is happening week to week.
