Terms and Refund Policy

1 Seller and contact

The seller is Set-Piece Academy Ltd, trading as Set-Piece Academy, of 12 Dott Road, Bangour Village, EH52 1AN, United Kingdom. For purchase, access or cancellation questions, email hello@set-pieceacademy.com or use the contact form at set-pieceacademy.com/contact/.

These terms apply to individuals buying a place online. If a club pays for places under a separately agreed contract, that contract may also apply. Nothing here removes rights a purchaser has under applicable law.

2 What you buy

The Analysis Course and Coaching Course are separate programmes. The Bundle gives one named student access to both. The course page and checkout identify the content, teaching and feedback included, any live sessions, start and release dates, duration of access, assessment and certification arrangements, and practical requirements before purchase. A course place is not a guarantee of a qualification, job or particular sporting result.

The Analysis Course is scheduled from Monday 2 November 2026 to Monday 15 February 2027. The Coaching Course is scheduled from Monday 9 November 2026 to Monday 22 February 2027. There are generally two weeks between modules within each course. There is a Christmas and New Year break after Coaching module 4 on Monday 21 December 2026. Analysis module 5 is scheduled to resume on Tuesday 5 January 2027. Dates are subject to reasonable changes as described in section 7; we will give students the detailed module timetable and notify them of material changes.

The student must have access to a MacBook for the required software and practical work. The Coaching Course also requires access to coach a team for its practical assignments. Before paying, Coaching Course students must confirm that they have this access. If a student later cannot access a team, they may remain enrolled and use the teaching materials, but cannot complete the affected practical assignments or receive a completion certificate unless they meet the published assessment requirements. They should contact us promptly: we can discuss a reasonable opportunity to arrange team access or, where suitable and agreed, a transfer to the Analysis Course with any price difference explained before the transfer. We will not remove a student solely because team access is unavailable. The 14-day cancellation offer in section 6 and statutory rights remain unaffected. If we cannot supply a material feature promised at purchase, the remedies in section 7 apply.

3 Price, payment and confirmation

The checkout states the total price in GBP, including any applicable taxes, before you authorise payment. Any early enrolment discount applies only to an eligible offer and is confirmed at checkout. No recurring payment is created by purchasing a course unless that is expressly shown and separately agreed.

Revolut processes the card payment. Your order is accepted when Revolut confirms payment to us and we issue the purchase confirmation. We will send the order details and these terms in a form you can keep. If a payment was taken but access or confirmation did not arrive, contact us with your payment reference; do not pay again until we have checked it.

4 Account and course access

After confirmed payment, we send an account-creation invitation to the email entered at checkout. If that email already has an Academy account, we add the purchased course to it. The return page after Revolut checkout is not itself proof that payment has been confirmed. If the invitation does not arrive, check your junk folder and contact us with the payment reference.

Platform access ends one week after the final module of your purchased course. For a Bundle, access ends one week after the final module of the later-finishing course. You may download module slides as PDFs where the platform provides a download and keep them for your personal learning, subject to the content-sharing restrictions below. Course video footage is not supplied for download.

The place belongs to the named student and is for that student’s own learning. Keep login details private. You may apply the skills and ideas you learn in your own coaching or analysis work. You may not copy, photograph, screen-record, download except where expressly provided, upload, publish, share, resell or distribute module content or give anyone else access to it. This includes slides, videos, diagrams, templates, exercises, examples and written materials.

You may not reproduce or closely adapt module content for your own presentations, workshops, courses, social media, websites, video channels or other online platforms, whether free or paid, or present it as your own work. This restriction also applies to internal club or team presentations. Ask us for written permission before using any course content in those settings. Your own original work and general knowledge or skills you develop remain yours.

5 Student work and footage

You retain ownership of work you submit. You give us permission to store, review and use a submission only to deliver the course, assess it, give feedback and administer your account. We will not use your submission in public marketing without separate permission.

Before uploading match footage, player images or club information, make sure you have the rights and permissions needed to share them with us. Do not submit material that breaches another person’s privacy, intellectual property or safeguarding rights. We may remove material that we reasonably believe is unlawful or creates a security or safeguarding risk, and will explain the reason where appropriate.

6 Cancellation and refunds

Our change-of-mind offer: if you buy online as a consumer, you may cancel within 14 days after purchase and receive a full refund, even if your account has been activated or you have viewed course material. This is an additional promise from Set-Piece Academy. It avoids treating a general acceptance of these terms as consent to lose cancellation rights when digital access begins.

After those 14 days, we do not offer a change-of-mind refund as standard. If you have a legal right to a remedy because a course is faulty, not as described, unavailable, or a service is not supplied with reasonable care and skill, those rights still apply. If we cancel a course or cannot deliver a material part of it, we will offer a suitable alternative if you want one or refund the part not delivered; a full refund may be appropriate where the main purpose of the purchase can no longer be met.

To cancel, email hello@set-pieceacademy.com or use the contact form, giving your name, purchase email, course and payment reference. A clear statement that you wish to cancel is enough. We will confirm receipt and pay any refund due without undue delay, normally within 14 days, using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise. We do not charge a cancellation or refund fee. This offer applies to the whole Bundle; it does not permit a partial change-of-mind refund for one component after the 14-day period.

7 Changes, problems and consumer rights

We may make reasonable adjustments to dates, tutors or materials when needed, provided the core course and value remain substantially as described. We will tell enrolled students promptly about a material change and offer a fair remedy if it substantially affects what was bought.

Under consumer law, digital content must meet the required standards and services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill. If there is a problem, contact us so we can investigate and provide repair, repeat performance, a price reduction or refund as required by law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits those rights, liability for fraud, or liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

8 Privacy and communications

We use your registration, payment and learning information to process the order, provide access, support and assessment, and keep appropriate records, as explained in our Privacy Notice at set-pieceacademy.com/privacy/. Live sessions are recorded for the course leader’s private review as explained in the Privacy Notice. Identifiable use of a student’s image, name, voice or contributions in social-media publicity requires separate, optional consent; accepting these terms does not give that consent. Necessary purchase, security and course messages are separate from optional marketing. Marketing messages require a separate choice where the law requires it.

9 Complaints and law

Contact hello@set-pieceacademy.com with any complaint. We will try to resolve it promptly. These terms do not prevent you from using a court or consumer remedy available under applicable law.

Cancellation notice
